Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce took exception to the NFL's apparent crackdown on finger gun gestures, saying, “This is my Second Amendment.”
Kelce appeared on the New Heights podcast and took issue with the 15-year-old's unsportsmanlike conduct penalty against New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard. The penalty was allegedly due to Lazard's use of a handgun gesture.

FOX News reported Kelce said, “I know you don't want to be like, 'Oh, an NFL player is shooting a gun' — I get that. But this is very subtle. Pointing it at the defender. It shouldn’t be on the flag unless you’re doing it.”
He continued:
If you want to fine the player after the game, you can do whatever you want. That's up to the NFL, which wants to protect the league, but I think it's absolutely ridiculous to have a guy on the ground pointing his finger at a first down and saying things like, “We're going that way.'' I think that's too much, dude. It's too much and it's negatively impacting the game.
Kelce later joked that he hoped the league would be censured for voicing his opinion, saying, “This is my Second Amendment, I have the right to bear arms.” added.
