Packers suspend Romeo Doubs after WR skipped two practices leading up to game against Rams

Third-year wide receiver Romeo Dubbs will not be on the field with his Green Bay Packers teammates Sunday afternoon.

The team announced that Dubs has been suspended for Week 5's game against the Los Angeles Rams for conduct detrimental to the team. The decision was made after Douce missed two days of practice and meetings last week.

sports illustrated It was then reported that the wide receiver took issue with the number of chances he got within the Packers' offense. Fox News Digital reached out to the Packers for comment but did not immediately receive a response. Mr. Du and his representatives could not be reached.

“Unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to suspend Romeo for this week's game,” Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said in a statement.

“His decisions and actions this week reflected negatively on our team and we needed to take this action. We are certainly disappointed, but we are confident we can move forward positively. Romeo is a member of our team. He is a valued member of our team,” and we look forward to welcoming him back next week. ”
