Simone Biles risks Bears fans’ backlash again after saying Packers star among most impressive NFL players

Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast of all time, continues to put herself in the position of being hated by Chicago Bears fans after revealing that one of her favorite NFL players is the Green Bay Packers. .

Biles, whose husband is Bears safety Jonathan Owens, understands the rivalry Chicago and Green Bay have with each other in the NFC North. Owens played for the Packers last season and signed with the Bears before the start of this year.

Earlier this year, fresh off her win at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Biles was spotted attending a Bears preseason game wearing a custom Packers jacket that included her husband's former jersey number. . Many Bears fans took to social media to express their displeasure with Biles' clothing choice as he stood on the Soldier Field sideline.

Now, one of Owens' former teammates got yelled at during Biles' appearance. “It’s not just about Cam Heyward’s football.” podcast after the Pittsburgh Steelers veteran defensive lineman asked her which NFL player impressed her the most.

“It was also fun and exciting to be with Jordan Love, who was a breakout star last season,” Biles said.

She first mentioned Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes, calling him a “natural freak.”

“Apart from my husband, because he broke through the prejudices of not being typical. He's typical.” [Division II]undrafted, in his seventh year in the league, is a great game for kids, especially when he hosts football camps. But I really think we always go back to Patrick Mahomes, who is a natural weirdo.

“How does he always get it done? The Chiefs could be down, but he's just a miracle worker.”

Hayward, a 14-year NFL veteran, understands Biles may have taken a risk shouting out love, but Biles offered a different perspective.

“I can't hate you even if I leave you!'' she said. “You still have a lot of respect for the team.”

Love earned respect from both the Packers and NFL fans in his first year as a starter last season after four-time MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets. With Biles looking after Owens on defense, Love threw for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

The Packers advanced to the playoffs and pulled off a huge upset against the second-seeded Dallas Cowboys on the road at AT&T Stadium. Love had a chance to pull off a win against the top-seeded San Francisco 49ers, but fell short.

Still, the Packers faithful are convinced the torch has been passed from Rodgers to Love's right quarterback, as is the team that gave him a massive four-year, $220 million contract extension this offseason. I believed it.

So while Biles admitted he won't make any more wardrobe mistakes on the sideline, he can't hate someone like Love, whom he cheered for last season.
