At the moment, President Trump is not aware of the now-famous graphic showing an illegal border crossing posted at a rally on July 13th, as he turned his head to look at it the moment Crooks started firing. A would-be presidential assassin's botched shot, which he partially credited with saving his life, has been shown again.
Trump's return to Butler also served as an opportunity to celebrate the life of former Pennsylvania Fire Chief Corey Comperatore. Trump tragically lost his life on July 13, when gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire on the 45th president, marking what is now the first assassination attempt on President Trump. .

Mr. Trump also timed his speech at his October 5 comeback rally to observe a moment of silence for Mr. Competore at 6:11 p.m., the exact moment gunshots rang out in Butler exactly 12 weeks ago. I timed it so that I could do it.
Opera singer Christopher Macchio then performed a live performance of composer Franz Schubert's “Ave Maria'' on stage in honor of Compertore.
