Ms. Rachel Encourages Adult Fans to Color Paper Dolls with Children for Anti-ICE Campaign

Controversial YouTuber Uses Son in Immigration Advocacy Campaign

A contentious children’s YouTuber, Rachel, has sparked debate by involving her 8-year-old son in an initiative aimed at supporting immigrants held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center in Texas.

In a segment shared on her Instagram, she urged her adult followers to “color paper dolls for the children at Dilley Immigration Detention Center,” encouraging them to supervise their kids while doing so. She even showcased her own son creating artwork for the cause.

In a tone that many might find condescending, she remarked, “This is for adults. Adults, you can color, right?”—a classic line you’d hear from a so-called “gentle parenting” influencer.

She challenged her fans to share their paper doll creations online with the hashtag “#freefamilies” and to “tag your congressman” to advocate for the closure of Dilley and to end the “cruel policy of family detention.”

Rachel, whose full name is Rachel Ann Accurso, has been actively protesting the Dilley facility for quite some time now.

Earlier this year, she featured a guest on her program, an immigrant child held in detention who, she claimed, felt distressed about missing out on a spelling bee at school.

Accurso recalled, “It was incredibly realistic to see this adorable little face and feel like I was on the phone with someone in prison. It shattered me, and it was something I never thought I would encounter in my life.”

She added, “We’re trying to get kids out of jail and make them do spelling bees; I never thought this word would fit.”

Rachel has been involved in political discussions for years, leading some to accuse her of using her kids to advance her personal political agenda. She has openly acknowledged the political nature of her actions.

“I’m a politician,” she stated. “It is political to believe that children deserve love and care, that all children are equal, and that our care should not stop at appearances, family, religion, or national borders.”

Rachel has made several accusations against the Dilley Center, alleging mistreatment of immigrants.

However, Randy Clark, a former U.S. Border Patrol agent, countered these claims, asserting that the Dilley facility, which was established during the Obama administration, has been subjected to unfair criticism.

Clark noted that Dilley has separate living quarters for each family unit, ensuring privacy from unrelated detainees, and mentioned that the doors for this section are not locked.

“In 2019, I toured, spoke with staff, and was guided through the on-campus school, medical and dental facilities that provide educational services to school-age children in detention,” Clark recounted, now contributing to Breitbart.

The facility also offers comprehensive food services, a salon for women, free childcare for immigrant parent meetings with officials, and a library stocked with immigration law books in various languages, along with a game room for kids.

While the Trump administration had introduced a school for children inside the facility, it was later closed by the Biden administration, though many of the original amenities have since been reinstated under current policies.
