Trump books Madison Square Garden rally to kick off final stretch of 2024 campaign

Former President Donald Trump plans to host a large rally at the Big Apple's iconic Madison Square Garden later this month, the Post reported.

Sources say the event will be held at MSG's legendary arena and is scheduled to take place on October 27, nine days before voting day.

The rally will be held on a first-come, first-served basis, so a large number of participants are expected.

Trump, 78, drew about 16,000 fans to a raucous rally at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, Long Island, last month.

The former president's Bronx rally in the summer drew up to 10,000 Trump supporters to Crotona Park, where the permit capacity was 3,500.

The world's most famous arena can accommodate as many as 19,500 seats within the main arena.

Home to the NBA's New York Knicks and NHL's New York Rangers, The Garden is no stranger to political gatherings.

The venue hosted the Democratic National Convention in 1924, 1976, 1980, and 1992, and the Republican National Convention in 2004.

President Trump has repeatedly hinted at the possibility of holding a rally at a midtown Manhattan venue as part of his strategy to win the Empire State in November.
