Regarding the Los Angeles Lakers' preseason schedule, LeBron James has taken to social media to question why the team has to travel to Milwaukee to play the Bucks on Thursday.
“Can someone please explain to me why we're on this thing?” [plane emoji] And heading to Milwaukee for one preseason game!?!?,” James posted on X Wednesday.
The Lakers will fly 2,750 miles to Milwaukee to face Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks at 8 p.m. ET. While this may seem normal to NBA fans, James and the Lakers may not agree to this schedule given the lack of home games.

After Milwaukee, the Lakers will play the Golden State Warriors twice and the Suns once more. James wonders why he has to travel to the Midwest for preseason when he can play opponents much closer to home.
He's not the only critic who thinks the preseason schedule is a bit excessive.
“It wasn't an ideal preseason for us,” Lakers first-year head coach JJ Redick said Tuesday via ESPN.

It's worth noting that while it's the league's responsibility to put together each team's regular season schedule, each team makes its own preseason schedule. There is no minimum limit, but you are allowed to schedule up to six games.
According to ESPN, the Lakers, who hosted the Bucks at home in last year's preseason, will return the favor “as part of a preseason trade-off with a home-and-home series.”
