The man responsible for the 100-foot-tall “Vote for Trump” billboard that now towers over an upstate New York city has appeared on a television show. glenn beck On “Wednesday's Show,” host Glenn Beck will explain why the billboard is a win for all Americans, regardless of their political affiliation.
Sticker Mule CEO Anthony Constantino on Tuesday night issued a restraining order against a “Vote for Trump” sign posted atop the company's building in Amsterdam, a city of about 18,000 people. After the judge lifted the ban, fans and supporters of freedom of speech gathered to celebrate. Residents live approximately 55 miles northwest of Albany.
“No one wants to have their mouth duct taped. No one wants their right to speak taken away.”
As Blaze News previously reported, lawyers working with city officials, including Democratic Mayor Michael Cinquanti, filed an ultimately unsuccessful lawsuit to block Constantino's sign. But it claimed the signs posed a “danger” to motorists and people who stopped to take selfies. . Lawyers have until October 18 to reapply.
Meanwhile, Constantino told Beck the community's response to the sign, which was first lit on Tuesday, has been overwhelmingly positive.
“I think everyone is crazy about this sign,” he said.
Constantino, a registered Democrat and Trump supporter, suggested to Beck that the sign represented “free speech” and “freedom of expression” more than anything else.
“I'm trying to end the proliferation of anti-Trump hate, which is really bad for both sides,” he explained. “People need to be able to feel comfortable saying that they like President Trump, who has done so much for the country and really for the world during his first term.”
“No one wants to have their mouth duct taped. No one wants their right to speak taken away.”
Constantino singled out tech giants like former Twitter owner Jack Dorsey and current Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg for previously restricting free speech on their respective social media platforms. did.
He also named Democratic lawmakers who he believes have crossed the line and called for restrictions on speech in defiance of the First Amendment. Constantino said such efforts are “really wrong.”
“We've been seeing John Kerry say some really awful things lately about free speech,” he said, “and Hillary Clinton saying some really awful things about not wanting free speech anymore. Tim Walz has also said some terrible things about free speech.”
Beck agreed, arguing that the Biden-Harris administration could not be “more clear” about its intentions to “ban speech.”
“Our government was helping Brazil try to get rid of Mr. X and Elon Musk,” Beck said. “when [Musk] He said the other day, “They won't stop me, and they won't stop until they get me,'' and I believe that 100 percent. ”
Constantino believes that the only way to stop this anti-American censorship is for Democrats to lose “big” at the polls, and he encouraged people in all 50 states to vote for Donald Trump this year.
“It doesn’t matter if it’s a red state or a blue state, you have to vote for Trump,” he said.
“Who knows? Maybe even New York will support President Trump this year.”
To boost Trump's chances, Constantino and his pro-Trump political action committee are offering free stickers promoting Trump's candidacy. Get access to free stickers here.
