Former President Donald Trump confirmed Wednesday that he plans to hold a campaign rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

“We just rented Madison Square Garden…we're going to make a play in New York that hasn't been done in a long time,” Trump said. “It hasn't been done in decades… How can New York be run worse than it is now? There are all kinds of problems and everything is corrupt in New York, so we make a play. So, let's see, you know, immigrants, they took over Madison Avenue. They took over Fifth Avenue. They took over the park.”
President Trump also announced his intention to hold rallies at arenas in Atlanta, Georgia and New Jersey.
“We're doing it in the arena because the crowds are so big and we're playing for New Jersey. We're making plays for Virginia, New York, New Mexico, Minnesota. I'm making a play about it. [Gov. Tim Walz] It comes from,” he added. “I'm fine. And you know why I'm doing so well in Minnesota? Because I'm running…it should be the other way around, right?”
