The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) revealed on Wednesday that the Iranian-backed terrorist organization Hezbollah uses the environmental non-governmental organization (NGO) Green Without Borders as a front for its operations.
The IDF said in a statement:
The Israel Defense Forces' 36th Division is conducting limited and locally targeted raids against Hezbollah's main terrorist targets in southern Lebanon, which pose a threat to Israeli communities in northern Israel. During previous operations, the military eliminated numerous terrorists, destroyed underground infrastructure, and dismantled more than 500 operational enemy infrastructure and combat facilities, including weapons storage facilities.
For years, the terrorist organization Hezbollah has cynically used the environmental NGO Greens Without Borders (GWB) as a front for its military operations in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah has dug tunnels, stored weapons, and built military observation posts within GWB facilities near the border with Israeli communities. During 36th Division operations, troops countered these threats, conducting raids targeting Hezbollah military assets and destroying weapons and underground infrastructure.
The IDF released photos and videos of weapons, tunnels, and other assets that Hezbollah used NGOs to hide.
Israeli soldiers continue dismantling Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon. These include an observation tower built by Hezbollah across from Rosh Hanikra, which until recently was a popular tourist destination in Israel.
Elsewhere on Wednesday, Israeli undercover special forces killed several wanted terrorists in the Palestinian-run city of Nablus in the West Bank (known to Israelis as Judea and Samaria) and attacked multiple fronts. continues the war.
One source said Israel has flipped the script on Hamas in the Gaza Strip regarding hostage negotiations. Lebanon's Hezbollah once said it would stop shelling Israel only if Israel agreed to a ceasefire in Gaza, but Israel now says it will only stop shelling Israel if Hamas releases Israeli hostages unconditionally. He reportedly said he would stop the war.
