Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes was at Kauffman Stadium on Wednesday night to watch Game 3 of the American League Division Series between the Kansas City Royals and New York Yankees.

Baseball is a big part of Mahomes' life. His father, Pat Mahomes, pitched 11 seasons for six different MLB teams from 1992 to 2003.

As a young man, Mahomes was a football player at Texas Tech University and played baseball in college.
In June 2020, Mahomes purchased a stake in the Royals, making him, at age 24, the youngest part owner in the history of the sport.
