Allred pushes back on Cruz transgender attack ads

Texas Congressman Colin Allred (Democratic) released from prison new ad On Friday, he pushed back against three Republican ads criticizing incumbent Sen. Ted Kaz (R-Texas) over his transgender policies.

“Ted Cruz lied again, but this time he lied about our children. I'm a dad. I'm a Christian, too,” Allred said on camera.

Mr. Cruise's advertisement Ms Allred said she voted against protections for women and girls in the Sport Act 2023 and is in favor of coeducational toilets. Democratic Party clarified his position.

“My faith has taught me that all children are children of God, so let me be clear: Boys playing girls' sports, ridiculous things like Ted Cruz says. “I don't want to do that,” he continued.

The former NFL linebacker and civil rights attorney has raised more than $68 million for his Senate campaign, nearly half of which came from donations made in the past three months. Cruz reported $21 million in funding over the same three-month period.

“Ted Cruz is lying about my record because he can't protect his own. He's done nothing to protect our borders,” Allred said. “He wants to raise the Social Security retirement age. He's full of it. You know that. He's calling everyone.”

The Lone Star State will be crucial in determining which party controls the Senate. Mr. Cruz has a 2.7 percentage point lead over Mr. Allred, based on an average of 36 polls.
