Scott LoBaido spotted hanging ‘Trump Crossing’ signs in NYC

A controversial conservative artist in Manhattan was photographed holding up one of President Donald Trump's mysterious traffic signs. It was talked about last weekdespite previously denying responsibility.

A now-deleted photo posted on Reddit on Tuesday shows Scott Robaid and two accomplices holding an unauthorized building near Third Avenue in Manhattan featuring a silhouette of President Trump and his signature coif. The video showed one of the road signs being installed.

“I saw 3 zippers tying a President Trump sign to a telephone pole,” the post read. The photo showed the artist standing on a ladder, covered in darkness, with his arm draped over a pole. Another man wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses helped by holding one of the “Trump Crossing” signs.

Commenters quickly identified Robaid, a prominent Trump native from Staten Island who is notorious for his art of public protest.

“That's Scott Robaid's buddy,” one Reddit user wrote. “He often does stunts like this,” another wrote.

In May, Robaid released 100 pink penis-shaped balloons outside the Manhattan courthouse where the current Republican candidate's hush-money trial was being held.

“He's the same guy who threw pizza at City Hall,” said another, referring to a stunt Robaid pulled in March to protest a plan to ban coal- and wood-fired pizza ovens in Big Apple restaurants. did. that got him arrested.

Perhaps his most famous protest came in 1999, when he threw horse manure at the Brooklyn Museum for displaying a controversial portrait of the Virgin Mary laced with elephant dung.

The same day the photo of the sign was shared on Reddit, Robaid posted on Instagram that she was in Manhattan and noticed “another attack by Trump sign thieves.” He installed about a dozen more billboards along a stretch from anti-Trumper Robert De Niro's Tribeca Grill on Greenwich Street to the New York Times Building, Battery Park City and Third Avenue in Midtown. was raised.

In another Instagram video posted to his account, some unmistakable signs can be seen in the studio background.

Just a few days ago, when the Post first reported on signs of an uptick in Brooklyn and Staten Island, Robaid told the paper it wasn't his fault. But, he added, “this is a very smart move.”

Observers pointed to another solid clue that Robaid was behind President Trump's billboard. The serial number “S4665L” is written in detail at the bottom of the sign.

Robaid's birthday is April 6, 1965.

The city's transportation department has promised to remove the unauthorized signs, but it's unclear whether the perpetrators will be punished. New York City Administrative Law prohibits posting such materials on public property such as streetlights, telephones, and utility poles.

First-time offenders are subject to fines of $75 to $150.
