The latest news shows that most Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) believe Vice President Kamala Harris is more competent than former President Donald Trump on general issues. This was revealed in a public opinion poll.
A poll conducted Monday by AAPI Data and The Associated Press found Harris leading Trump on other issues where the former president supports the former president, such as the economy and immigration. Harris leads on these issues, 41% to 34% and 42% to 35%, respectively.
Harris also maintains a narrow lead on crime, 39% to 33%. But she's crushing Trump on the most popular issues. AAPI adults support Harris 65% to 16% on abortion. 64% to 15% on race and inequality and 59% to 19% on health care.
The Associated Press conducted the poll from Sept. 3 to 9, surveying 1,123 AAPI adults online and by phone in a variety of languages. The poll touts a margin of error of 4.7%.

Monday's poll will go as other polls have shown Trump is making Black men have traditionally been some of the Democratic Party's most reliable supporters.
