Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni quickly apologized for his actions after getting into a heated argument with his own fan at Lincoln Financial Field after Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns.
After a slow start, a blocked field goal and a 10-10 lead at halftime after a 20-16 win over Cleveland, Eagles fans chanted “Get rid of Sirianni!” from the stands. was seen mocking his fan base. for a Browns touchdown.
Sirianni looked up at the crowd late in the game, when AJ Brown, returning from injury, sank a deep ball from QB Jalen Hurts to seal the victory, making it clear the Eagles had won. He was seen shouting something while turning his ear to them.

His actions inspired many to air their opinions on the issue on social media, but Super Bowl champion Damian Woody called Sirianni out on ESPN's “The Get Up” Monday morning. They criticized him, calling him a “clown” for provoking fans.
Speaking to reporters on Monday, Sirianni was asked about the verbal abuse directed at the fans and whether Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie had discussed it.
“No, Mr. Lurie and I talk after every game. We haven't talked yet today,” he began. “I know how supportive Mr. Lurie has been in everything.
“I would say this about it: What I was actually doing was yesterday trying to bring energy. Energy. [and] Yesterday's enthusiasm. I was disappointed and disappointed in how my energy was directed at the end of the match. My energy should be focused on coaching, motivating, and celebrating my players. We should have better wisdom and insight as to when to use that energy, and that time was not. ”

Eagles fans aren't happy about Sirianni starting in the 2024 season, even though the Eagles are just 3-2 behind the Washington Commanders for first place in the NFC East.
However, Philadelphia did not look like the dominant team that was expected this year based on the talented roster they possess. Even Sirianni decided to shave his head to turn the tide during the team's bye week after a blowout loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Woody was among those who reacted to Sirianni's actions Sunday, saying fans had a right to boo him and the Eagles after the season started.

“What's this clown doing, brother? This guy is a clown,” said Woody. “I'm serious. You're going to talk some serious shit to your fans. Your own fans? Listen, people pay a lot of money to come here and watch you unveil a product on the field. It's natural for fans to boo you if you don't perform well because they think your team stinks, right?
“Then I'm going to take my kids to the post-game to soften the blow of the reporters' questions. This guy's a straight clown, brother. I'm totally against what this guy's doing. No respect. Y” “Everyone just barely beat the awful Cleveland Browns and you want to badmouth the fans.”
Immediately after the game, as Woody noted, Sirianni attended a press conference with his children and said he was “just thrilled to get the win” and thanked his home fans for their support.
Sirianni led the Eagles to a Super Bowl appearance against the Kansas City Chiefs during the 2022 season, and despite not winning the Lombardi Trophy, Philadelphia is off to a 10-1 start in 2023. I cut it.
But Sirianni has found himself in a sour spot among Philadelphia fans since the team lost five of its last six games last season before losing to the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay in the wild-card round.
