Jets, Bills have ugly shoving match with lights out at MetLife Stadium

The old beef was updated on Monday night.

Bills tackle Dion Dawkins had to be separated from his Jets opponent during the teams' matchup at MetLife Stadium on Monday night.

Dawkins barked at the Jets and was subsequently given an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

The lights at MetLife Stadium were dimmed at the time, adding to the drama.

It looked like superstar Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams needed to be held back from going toward Dawkins.

Last year, Dawkins and Jets defensive end Michael Clemons got into a shoving match in the tunnel after the Jets lost 32-6 to the Bills on Nov. 19, 2023.

Dawkins said after the game that the Jets were “very disrespectful players.”

During the offseason, Dawkins called Clemons a “bitch boy.”

“A weirdo is a weirdo. I don't want to give this guy any credit for talking about No. 72, Michael Clemons, bitch boy, bitch boy.” Dawkins once said:. “I hate them, all of them.

They feel like they play sports because they want to be cool. All these guys want to take pictures on Instagram. It's amazing. I'm going to play this.”
