Chick-fil-A Launching Streaming Service, Here’s What It Will Include

Chick-fil-A wants to entertain users while they eat, and plans to launch a new streaming app service next month to drive customers to its more than 3,000 locations.

The popular fast food maker has launched Chick, an app that aims to “enable parents and kids to share and experience together while enjoying a meal at home, at the drive-thru, or anywhere in the city.” -fil-A Play will be released on November 18th. Chick-fil-A announced Monday.

Chick-fil-A is debuting a free service with cooking shows and interactive stories, as well as several original animated shows like Hidden Island and scripted podcasts.

“Hospitality and fun have always been at the heart of the Chick-fil-A family experience, from our restaurants to our playgrounds to our kids' meals,” said Dustin Britt, executive director of brand strategy for the Atlanta-based company. In that statement.

“The Chick-fil-A Play app is a digital extension of that experience and another way we are reimagining 'play' for our guests in a unique way through entertainment that truly encourages time together. ”

The company, which is the third largest restaurant chain in the United States by sales, also sells branded products as it aims to expand its business horizons into the entertainment field.

As Breitbart News reported, the company previously produced content for the site, including: Evergreen Hills Storya series of animated shorts.

Chick-Fil-A has long espoused a Christian and fairly conservative social view.

But that all changed in 2019, when the company stopped donating to charities like the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes after pressure from LGBTQ+ groups.

A huge backlash ensued from loyal customers who felt the company had folded too easily for a pressure campaign from the left.
