A major House Democratic PAC announced it would spend $4 million late in this election cycle in hopes of unseating Republican incumbents in deep-blue states.
The House Majority PAC money marks the first major partisan investment in support of former New Jersey Working Families Party leader Sue Altman. According to Huffington Post. Mr. Altman is facing off against Rep. Tom Keene Jr. (R.N.J.), a Trump supporter known as a moderate Republican who served as a former state senator.

Keene's seat remains one of the few Republican-friendly seats in the Garden State. Democratic Josh Gottheimer's Skylands-area seat was long held by conservative Republican Scott Garrett until it was slightly redrawn to include the New York City suburbs.
Rep. Jeff Van Drew (RN.J.), a former Democrat, represents the other area of Cape May, and was replaced by Republican Frank LoBiondo for 25 years.
Congressman Christopher Smith, RN.J., has represented the Upper Jersey Shore since 1981. He remains the longest-serving Congressman in state history.
