In Montana's 1st Congressional District, Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-Mont.) will be re-elected over Democratic candidate Monica Tranel, the Associated Press reported.
As of Wednesday morning, 95% of the vote was reported, with Zinke leading with 52% of the vote, compared to Tranel's 45%.
Zinke, a former Navy SEAL, is a fifth-generation Montana native who served in the military for 23 years before entering politics to pursue another mission: “defending the Constitution and doing what's right for Montana and America.” I got a job.

Tranel, the Democratic candidate in the race, works as an attorney, is a two-time Olympian and won a world championship gold medal with the U.S. women's rowing team.

The race is a rematch of the 2022 midterm elections, in which Zinke defeated Tranel for a seat in the Big Sky state.
