Trump Victory ‘the Revenge of the Working-Class American’

Early Wednesday morning, CNN contributor Scott Jennings said former President Donald Trump's landslide victory was “revenge” on working-class Americans.

Jennings criticized the media, labeling it a “political information complex.”

“This is an obligation,” he said. “He won the national popular vote for the first time since 2004 as a Republican. This is a big deal. This is not going back to office. This is going to do what you said you were going to do, which is to support ordinary working class people. Our mission is to get our economy working again for Americans, improve immigration, curb crime, and strive to reduce global chaos.”

Jennings went on to say, “I interpret tonight's result as the revenge of working-class Americans, anonymous Americans who have been broken, insulted, and looked down upon.” “They're not trash. They're not Nazis. They're normal people who get up every day and go to work and try to make a better life for their children. I feel like if I complain about something that's hurting me, I'm just told to shut up.”

“And as we sit here tonight focused on this election, I feel like this election is like an indictment on the political intelligence complex,” he added. “The story being portrayed is not true. We were told Puerto Rico was going to change the election. Liz Cheney, Nikki Haley voters, women lying to their husbands,” he said. spoke. “People are being told every night that these things and these gimmicks are somehow going to push Mr. Harris over the line, and we're talking about inflation and people who feel like they're barely treading water at best. I was ignoring the basics.”
