Anti-oil activists allegedly vandalized the US embassy in London in the early morning hours after Donald Trump was elected president.
Activists posted the video around 5:25 a.m. ET, saying they were motivated to desecrate the building because they are fighting big government, which they believe is controlled by oil companies.
“The US embassy has been painted orange to reject fascism,” the group wrote on its social media page.
A group called Just Stop Oil was quick to condemn Trump, adding alarm about climate change to claims that the world is rapidly descending into “fascism.”
“This morning we woke up to find the world slipping deeper into not just climate change but fascism,” the group began, “Trump's victory puts the lives of ordinary people everywhere at risk.”
“The only real winners of today's elections are the corporate powers that control the major political parties in the US and UK.”
The group also claimed that Western political systems have been bought by “Big Oil” even as the world faces “the greatest challenges of our time.”
That challenge, of course, is climate change.
“Democracy has been hijacked by corporate interests and billionaires.”
The group proposed acts of civil disobedience to minimize the effects of “climate change” and the resulting “social collapse”.
“As long as our democracy is taken over by corporate interests and billionaires, we won't be able to achieve the change that people desperately want. The door will always remain open for pseudo-populists to exploit.” statement continued.
Just Stop Oil also called on “ordinary people” to organize and create change because “political leaders” will not save the planet.

Activists have also advocated the disruption of “business as usual”, having in the past blocked roads, suspended sporting events and destroyed artwork.
In fact, two members of an activist group were recently found guilty of pouring soup on a priceless painting. In 2022, Anna Holland and Phoebe Plummer threw tomato soup at Vincent van Gogh's 1888 painting “Sunflowers.”
Just Stop Oil's orange paint protests, no matter how often they were held, failed to garner public support. Indeed, working-class people have responded violently to protesters in recent years.
Fed up commuters drag protesters in out on the street They may even grab you by the hair or get you off the roof of the train to prevent further delays to your trip.
The U.S. Embassy in London opened in 2018 and is the largest U.S. embassy in Western Europe.
