Barstool Sports chief Dave Portnoy laid out exactly why Donald Trump won the presidential election this morning and, more importantly, why Democrats lost.
In the early morning hours after Trump finally won the 2024 White House race, Portnoy took to his X account to explain why he thought the election had gone Trump's way.
A self-proclaimed centrist, he blamed it all on the extreme, hateful, shrill rhetoric employed by the Democratic Party and its wild-eyed agents in the mainstream media.
Mr. Portnoy began his explanation by congratulating Mr. Trump on his victory, but also said: Total support for the Republican Party and Donald Trump and nothing but accusations against the Democratic Party, and that's exactly what this rant is about. ”
Portnoy jumped right into it.
Many are wondering how Mr. Trump got more votes than last time. The answer is this. Because for people like me, independents or moderates, the Democratic Party didn't give us a choice. Democrats gave us no choice. It was the worst campaign and their sheer arrogance and moral superiority drove people away. If you say you're voting for Trump, all of a sudden you're a Nazi, you're Hitler, you're trash. Enough, enough!
He added, “Well, there are certainly racists within the party, just like there are some fucking crazy people, motherfuckers, racists within the Democratic Party. That's fine, but millions and millions and millions of people will vote for the Democratic Party,'' he added. Mr. Trump. He won beautifully. He won a decisive victory. And then, after the primaries were over, they staged a coup, got rid of Joe, put Kamala in, and suddenly she was the greatest thing since sliced bread. The same woman who ran for president, got zero votes, and can't even answer the question of how she's different from Biden, ran the worst campaign I've ever seen, but technically she 's entire campaign was about fear-mongering. What will be the end of democracy if Trump becomes a dictator? It's trash. It's trash. Those who are pulling the strings within the Democratic Party will eliminate them. They have lost the plot.
