In an interview with CBS on Thursday, Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) declared, “I don't think Joe Biden has been anything but successful as president,” but many people Those who weren't feeling his “great” economy and wondered, “Are they feeling that way because of reality, or are they feeling that way because of disinformation and misinformation?”
“I do not believe that Joe Biden has been anything but successful as president, and his track record is clear,” Clyburn said. That's what I meant when I said that people react to their emotions and it may matter little what the record is. he has a great record. But many people didn't feel it. The economy was great. But many felt differently. Did they feel that way because of reality, or did they feel that way because of disinformation and misinformation? ”
Clyburn also said that Harry Truman “left the presidency quite unpopular with many people, but as historians look back at his accomplishments and record, he steadily rose through the ranks.” And now he is considered to be in the top 10 of all-time presidents. So the same thing will happen to Joe Biden. He led one of the most successful presidents in Democratic history, and you have to go all the way back to Lyndon Johnson to find a match. ”
