Democratic strategist James Carville said in an interview on “The View” on Saturday that Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign may be due to her failure to differentiate herself from President Biden.

“If this campaign could be reduced to an instant, I think we would be in a country that is 65% on the wrong path. This country wants something different. And she often Once, in a friendly audience, I asked him on The View, “How are you different from Biden?” That's the only question you have to answer, that's what you are. That's the question you want to know, and you literally freeze. Well, I can't think of anything.” carville saidspeaking with Tim Miller on “The Bulwark Podcast.”

In an interview in early October, Harris joined her co-hosts on “The View,” who have repeatedly expressed support for Harris throughout the campaign, but Hostin asked her about the president's identity during the campaign. I was asked if I would have done anything differently. For the past 4 years. Harris said she can't think of anything she would have done differently.

“So we said 65% want something different. We're not going to cave in to them, but maybe Trump's antics combined with Dobbs' decision will make us… Well, we couldn't overcome it. But when we did, we couldn't overcome it.'' It would definitely appear on “The View.” And she asked a question, I think her name was Sunny Hostin, and it was the most devastating answer you could imagine,” Carville continued.

Kamala Harris' incorrect answer on 'opinion' about Biden seen as turning point in campaign

During an interview on “The View,” Hostin asked President Harris what the biggest “tangible” difference would be between a potential Harris presidency and a Biden presidency.

“We are definitely different people,” Harris said. “One of the issues I'm looking at is what to do about home health care.”

Much later in the interview, Harris also said she intended to appoint Republicans to her Cabinet.

Before the election, Carville predicted that Harris would win because Trump was “absolutely crazy.”

Asked why he thinks the vice president will be the winner, Carville said on MSNBC's “Morning Joe”: “She has more money, she has more energy, she has a more united party, she has better surrogates. And he's absolutely insane,” he told MSNBC's “Morning Joe.”

Carville wasn't alone in pointing out that the interview was a pivotal moment for Harris' campaign.
