Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) told CNN's “Outfront” on Tuesday that he was “shocked” by President-elect Donald Trump's nomination of Fox News host Pete Hegseth to be the next Secretary of Defense. I received it,” he said.

“He was the biggest cheerleader for Fox News, the biggest cheerleading network. That doesn't qualify him to be Cabinet Secretary or Secretary of Defense.”
Goldman concluded: “It's bad enough that Kristi Noem, who has no experience in border security, is running the Department of Homeland Security as governor of South Dakota. Now we have a Fox News host who knows exactly what nuclear weapons are. It's very dangerous.
