The No. 1 pick and the entire offense took a big step back with three straight losses after starting the season 4-2.

“There's definitely a lot to learn from this game for myself, just talking about some situational things,” Williams said Sunday after the loss dropped Chicago to 4-5.

“Obviously in every game there are some passes that I wish I had back. But situationally, this game was a great learning experience for me and I think I could have done better in some situations. I think so.”

The responsibility for reinvigorating Williams' rookie season falls to Thomas Brown, who will replace Waldron as passing game coordinator.

Williams has already been sacked 38 times this season and has been criticized for holding onto the ball too much.

The offense has won consecutive games without a touchdown, something a historically inept team hasn't done since 2004.
