The Fed is Compromised — More Than 90% of Federal Reserve Employee Political Donations Go to Democrats

Breitbart News economics editor John Carney told Fox Business Network's “Kudlow” on Friday that more than 90% of Federal Reserve staff's political contributions go to Democrats.

Host Larry Kudlow said, “As you write this, I didn't know that 91% of the Federal Reserve's donations go to Democrats.” It's an outrageous story, but you're saying it happened recently. ”

“Well, 91% of the money will go to Democrats this election cycle, so it's literally 11 to 1, so if you look at it another way, it's going to be 91 percent going to Democrats compared to Republicans,” Carney said. That was the case in 2020, but it was more balanced and much lower in previous election cycles. If you look at the numbers, in 2012, 2008, and 2004, Fed officials were less politicized, and Republicans and Democrats were relatively even, with Republicans winning. There was a year when we did this.It has now become extreme.This is due to personnel changes at the Federal Reserve. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. They're really trying to change the Fed's personnel. They're not just pushing paper. We brought in a lot of ideologues, along with ESG and DEI ideologues.”
