Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman declared President-elect Donald Trump's victory on election night a “profound change for our brothers.”
Fetterman told Politico This week, we looked at Trump's victory in his home state, largely due to the former president's appeal to male voters. He faulted Democrats for failing to appeal to men in the same way.
“I think this election was a profound change for the brothers. And it was weird to see the Democrats be like, 'Oh, that's just the way it is, the cat lady who doesn't have kids.'” Yeah. I don't know why. [JD] As Vance would say, you can be pro-family without insulting people who choose not to have children or who are unable to have children,'' Fetterman said.
He continued, “But it's the same thing. I mean, is the word 'brother' a positive thing? And the media uses it very liberally, pejoratively. Well, they're sophisticated If they're not good enough, or shallow, or gross, etc., then we'll fire them.”

Fetterman added, “I don't understand why you're not on Logan. I've always been a longtime fan of his. I don't agree with him on everything. But I guess we all have a responsibility. “How can we challenge our views and engage in conversations with people?''
He went on to attack Democrats for “reprimanding” voters and attacking Trump supporters.
“I absolutely love people who are going to vote for Trump. They're not fascists. They're not like that. Once the tickle switch is turned on and they use words like that, it's hard to backtrack. I think it's a little difficult.'' Those are words that don't really work with voters, and scolding them harder and clutching their pearls harder never work with Democrats,'' Fetterman said.
He particularly criticized former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who pushed President Biden out of the race and suggested she should have done so sooner.

“People like [Nancy] Pelosi, she meant it – what are the words I'm looking for? — She accepted that “She is the Godmother, she is the Executor.” And now she's blaming Biden. Well, you can't have it both ways. “He got what he wanted and he's still criticizing Biden. I think it's really ironic that an 84-year-old woman is still holding on,” Fetterman said. . Why not give the younger generation a chance to sit in that seat? ”
Although Fetterman is not a fan of Trump, he has repeatedly warned the party that he has “connections” with voters in Pennsylvania, especially after the first assassination attempt on Trump.
“Right after that, I went out and saw people wearing custom shirts with that image,” Fetterman said. “It's like, 'They tried everything. They impeached this guy, put him on trial, you know, the media. And now they tried to kill him, and he survived.' ” And he had the mental fortitude to respond to that and create what it would be like. [Barack] Obama? Can you imagine what that means for the Democratic Party? ”

As in most parts of the country, Trump's victory in Pennsylvania was driven primarily by male voters. Not only did he attract more men under 30, he also gained more black men.
