Follow these simple steps to add widgets to your home screen and make your iPhone even more useful.
- touch and hold free space Click on the home screen until the app starts shaking.
- Please look for edit icon Tap in the top left corner of the screen.
- click Add widget
- Scroll and Widgets available or search bar to find something specific.
- Please tap Selected widgetswipe left or right to see different options.
- Once you have selected your size, tap Add widget Place it on your home screen.

Positioning and resizing widgets
After adding a widget, you can easily adjust its position and size. Here's how:
- Touch and hold the widget until it floats, then drag it to the desired location. You can also place it anywhere on the current page, or drag it to the edge of the screen to move it to another page. Then tap on an empty area on your home screen.
- Then press and hold on the widget Check out the available size options. Tap the widget size.
- Then tap on an empty space on your home screen. If available, Grab the corner of the widget Where you can see the small handle to make it bigger.
- To confirm your changes, tap end.

Customizing widget appearance
iOS 18 introduces new ways to customize the appearance of widgets.
Resize icons. Press an empty area on the home screen. tap edit Select at the top of the screen, customization Access options to make icons larger.
Adjust appearance: choice light or dark Select icon and widget mode or automatic Switch depending on the time of day.
Add tints of color: use. colored Option to add color overlays to icons and widgets and adjust hue and saturation to your liking. Press It's emptyClick on the home screen to save your changes.

Delete widget
If you want to remove the widget from your home screen:
- Long press on an empty area Long press on the home screen until the app vibrates.
- Please look for “-“icon on the widget you want to delete
- tap remove to confirm your decision.
