NFL fans now have new tools to centralize relevant content in X.
The Elon Musk-owned social media platform and the league have teamed up on a new centralized portal that will provide all NFL content in one place, an X representative confirmed exclusively to The Post.
The new portal includes an aggregated feed of tweets from NFL teams, rights partner accounts (such as “SNF on NBC”), and reporters from NFL Media and news organizations such as ESPN.
There are also separate tabs to check your scores, standings, and statistics.
“I believe in partnering with the biggest and best companies, and there's nothing bigger and better than the NFL. Today, football fans around the world can witness the power of X and the NFL on their screens. “We will continue to do so,” X CEO Linda Yaccarino said in a statement. “X is the largest stadium in the world and we are delivering the ultimate fan experience.”
According to X's internal metrics, 56% of users on the platform are NFL fans.
About 40 percent of sports posts on X are about the NFL, and NFL-related videos have been viewed about 16 billion times in the past year.
The Super Bowl is consistently the most talked about event on X, with 19.2 million posts and 1.1 billion video views last year.
“We're always looking to increase the ways fans can engage with the NFL across all forms of media,” said Ian Trombetta, NFL Senior Vice President of Social and Influencer Marketing. “The newly launched NFL Portal on X provides an enhanced way to enjoy the game-day experience and allows fans to keep up with all the action from across the league.”
