Concealed-carrying motorist shoots male who approaches him allegedly with hand under shirt during road rage incident

In a road rage incident over the weekend in Illinois, a driver carrying a concealed bag fired at a man who approached him with his hands under his shirt.

Police say the only male driver, a concealed carry permit holder, pulled a legally concealed gun from the vehicle and fired several shots at the other man.

Police say the only man called 911 to report the incident.

The injured man was taken to a local hospital, where he underwent surgery and was admitted to the intensive care unit, police said.

Police said the incident is under investigation but no arrests have been made.
