Christian Pulisic Does Trump Dance After Scoring Goal for Team USA

United States Men's National Team (USMNT) star Christian Pulisic, who scored the opening goal in Monday's CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinal victory over Jamaica, performed a card dance to celebrate his goal.

Pulisic will appear on “Doing the Donald” along with NFL players Brock Bowers, Nick Bosa, Za'Darius Smith, Malcolm Rodriguez and Calvin Ridley.

Additionally, UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones also made this move after defeating Stipe Miocic at UFC 309.

After the match, Pulisic explained why he danced, insisting it was not “political”.

Asked if he did that dance on purpose, Pulisic said: “Obviously, that's Trump's dance.” “It was just a dance that everyone was doing. He was the one who created it. He just thought it was funny.

“Yesterday, I saw everybody do it in the NFL. I saw Jon Jones do it. I thought it was a pretty fun dance, just having a little fun.

Pulisic continued: “No, not at all. It wasn't a political dance. It was just for fun. It was fun because I saw a lot of people doing it and thought it was funny. I hope at least some of you do.”

Although strange, the question of whether this dance is political is perhaps unavoidable. Nothing in the dance supports an agenda unless the agenda is fun.
