A winning Florida high school football coach was allegedly caught on camera watching porn in front of his students in his classroom.
Miami Jackson High School head football coach Max Edwards was caught watching pornography on a school computer in front of at least one student, who filmed him, according to video footage. Obtained by CBS Miami.
The video shows the employee, identified as Edwards, displaying blatantly explicit content on a desktop in the corner of the classroom.
Edwards was placed on administrative leave pending an investigation by the Miami-Dade School District, officials said.
“Miami-Dade Public Schools is disturbed by allegations of conduct involving employees at Miami Jackson High School,” the school district said in a statement.
“The individual has been removed from school grounds pending the outcome of the investigation.”
It is unclear whether Mr. Edwards may face criminal charges.
Edwards is a prominent high school football coach in south Florida.
He previously coached for 10 years at Miami Northwestern High School, where he led the team to three state championships. According to WPLG.
