A Florida suspect was recently arrested on suspicion of plotting to bomb the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida announced the arrest Wednesday.
“Harun Abdul Malik Jenner, 30, of Coral Springs, Florida, was charged with attempting to use an explosive device to damage or destroy a building used for interstate commerce,” the department said in a statement. He was charged with this and was arrested today.”
According to court documents obtained by FOX News Digital, Harun Abdulmalik Jenner was unknowingly working with an undercover FBI agent before his arrest.
“The stock exchange, we want to strike it because it's going to wake people up,” the suspect allegedly said in the document. At another point, he reportedly said:[s] Like bin Laden. ”
