Joe Rogan attacked billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates on Wednesday, accusing him and others who have profited during the coronavirus pandemic of causing widespread damage.

In an interview on TED Connects, Gates urged politicians to focus on controlling the virus and warned them not to ignore the human cost in favor of reopening businesses.
Later that year, Gates said he was “very confident” in the safety and effectiveness of the FDA-approved vaccine. His remarks came just before Pfizer and BioNTech sought emergency use authorization for their vaccine candidate.
