The nursing student was innocently jogging on the University of Georgia campus in Athens, Georgia, when 26-year-old Jose Ibarra decided to take his own life.
Ybarra was found guilty on all charges in a fast-paced trial Wednesday morning.

“She fought so hard that she was not fully exposed, but when officers found her lying with her skull crushed by a stone that Ibarra had allegedly picked up and hit, at least half of her body was removed. “She was completely exposed because he had unsuccessfully tried to rape her before murdering her, thank the Lord,” Stuckey says.
Riley was reportedly wearing a smartwatch at the time, which revealed that his heart rate spiked during the 17-minute attack.

“And not only that, he was actually given a gift. As a reward for the crimes he committed, he was given a free plane ticket from New York to Georgia, funded by taxpayers. . So he ended up killing Laken Riley,'' she added, disgusted.
