A Florida man and his wife were arrested Tuesday for allegedly assaulting a female school resource officer, authorities announced, citing police body camera footage.

Rivera can be seen on body camera footage putting his hand on the deputy's face in the school hallway.
Suddenly, Mr. Iturino is seen physically confronting the officer, and the video shows Mr. Rivera jumping into the commotion.
The officer pulled out a Taser, but Rivera apparently punched him in the head, knocking him to the ground. He then ripped the deputy's Taser out of her hands.
School officials try to stop Rivera from using the Taser.
Deputy Curtin drew his gun and yelled, “Put it down now! Put your hands behind your back now!”
Rivera was seen dropping the Taser, and the deputy arrested Rivera and Iturino.
According to prison recordsthe parents were charged with resisting arrest with violence, trespassing on school grounds after a warning, and objecting to the functioning of a school. Rivera was charged with grand theft, assault on a law enforcement officer, and assault or battery on certain officers and employees.

Chitwood blamed his parents, saying, “Let me be clear: the only shit in that video is the mother and father. They're shit.”
He continued: “They attacked my deputy and she suffered a concussion.”
Chitwood declared Iturino “deserves to be fired” from his teaching position for his role in the alleged assault of the deputy.
“I'm not going to let these assholes come and attack legislators doing their job, and I'm not going to expect them to be held accountable,” Chitwood declared.
“You can't say you're furious. There's no reason to call a deputy with a concussion over something as trivial as this,” the sheriff said. The deputy prime minister said he will be on bed rest for four days, WESH reported.
