Jake Paul and the team at Most Valuable Promotions were not informed of the seriousness of Mike Tyson's health issues before the Nov. 15 fight, according to his business partner Nakisa Bidalyan. That's what it means.
After Paul, 27, scored a unanimous decision victory over Tyson, 58, at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, the former heavyweight champion revealed in a social media message that he nearly died in June.

Tyson, who had been dealing with a number of health issues prior to the fight, appeared sluggish and was gassed in the ring along with Paul.
The highly anticipated showdown was originally scheduled to take place on July 20, but Tyson suffered a recurrence of an ulcer, forcing the fight to be postponed.
After the fight, Tyson explained that he was grateful he was able to fight Paul for eight rounds due to his health.

Tyson said he doesn't know if he's done with the sport of boxing.

Tyson came out of retirement to face Paul on Friday for the first time in nearly 20 years.
He lost to Kevin McBride in 2005 and then retired with a record of 50-6.
