Oklahoma governor vows to assist Trump with deportation plan

Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) said on Friday's appearance that he will help President-elect Trump deport the state's illegal immigrants. fox news.

Stitt already has a public safety director in place. in charge These efforts will begin inside the prison, as state records show more than 500 inmates are illegal immigrants, according to the governor's office.

“We want to be ready from the first day that President Trump takes office. People who are here breaking the law, we believe in public safety,” he said on the air.

“We want to protect the people of Oklahoma, and we want to be ready to remove them from Oklahoma and drive them out of the country before the Laken Riley scandal affects Georgia again. That's what I think.

He blamed President Biden for the four-year border crisis and increased immigration.

“The first thing we focus on is people who have committed crimes. I think that's what President Trump is trying to do. And once we secure the border, Biden has spent the last four years doing that. “That's why the American people overwhelmingly supported President Trump, because they knew he would secure the border from day one.”

Stitt said he believes in allowing immigrants into the country through legal action.

“And we can also look at immigration policy and state-based work visas, because if you have people who are pursuing the American dream and trying to do the right thing, you can match employers and employees and put them in the workforce. Because I think we should do away with educational visas if you have an engineering degree from a university in order to be employed as a force,” he suggested.

“But we're going to start with illegal activity.”

Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey (D) has decided not to use state police to assist in mass deportations. Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs (Democratic) said she would support Trump but “will not tolerate acts of terrorism against our communities.”

President Trump said on his first day in office that he would spare no expense to oversee “the largest deportation in American history.”

“On his first day in office, all President Trump has to do is go back to the Remain in Mexico policy and direct the Border Patrol to do its job. It is already federal law that you cannot enter our country except at one of our ports of entry,” Stitt said.
