Steelers’ George Pickens Restrained After Fighting Browns Player During Final Play

Wide receiver George Pickens appeared unwell Thursday after suffering a severe seizure in the final seconds of the Pittsburgh Steelers' 24-19 loss to the Cleveland Browns.

With time running out, a desperate Hail Mary pass failed and Pickens was physically separated from Browns cornerback Greg Newsome II, ending the game.

But game video shows Pickens grabbing Newsome and dragging him off the field during the pass, where he begins yelling at the player.

The start of the incident shows Newsome running out of the end zone and onto the sideline on Pickens' butt. A close-up shot shows Pickens crying and being dragged away by Newsome.

This isn't the first time Pickens has gone erratic on the field. In October, he grabbed another player's face mask and slammed him to the ground.

Shortly thereafter, he slammed a Washington Commanders player into the dirt for no good reason.

He refused to even credit the Browns for winning Thursday's game, insisting that it was only the cold and snow that beat the Steelers, not the Browns, saying, “Conditions played a huge role in today's game. '' he said. I don't think the Cleveland Browns are a good team at all. ”

Despite this, Greg Newsom II was completely unimpressed by Pickens and his antics. After the game, Newsome called Pickens a “fake tough guy” on his X account.
