The post was flooded with negative comments such as:

  • “I wonder why she's always carrying a cross when she's half-naked…oh my god.”
  • “He is half-naked and carrying a cross. [Would you] Do they also make fun of other religions? ”
  • “There is nothing sacred about you, please take off your rosary (lol)”
  • “Why don't you just get naked!!!!! It's hypocritical to get naked while wearing a cross! I'm tired of your despair.”
  • “The Holy Rosary is not a fashion accessory.”
  • “I'm not wearing a rosary in my lingerie.”

Many more comments praised the reality star's appearance. One fan wrote, “Kimmy is beautiful but please take off the rosary.” Another user commented, “Breaking news: All the religious people are making a fuss over something that doesn't matter again. Who would have thought?”

A representative for Kardashian did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment on the controversy.
