Why Lonzo Ball won’t put Kobe Bryant in his NBA Mount Rushmore

Black mamba blasphemy.

Lonzo Ball presented NBA Mount Rushmore to Angel Reese during a recent appearance on the “Unaporegively Angel” podcast, but KB24 was not chosen.

“If I had to pick a top four, there would be no order.” Reese investigated 27-year-old Bulls guard.

“LeBron, Jordan,” Ball began. “I’m going to the shack. [too]Because he's the most dominant ever. ”

“And number four, I'm going to – we just had this discussion – I'm going to go to the Magic, but I…To be honest, Curry has to find his way there. It looks like it might.”

“Why curry?” Reese asked. “Isn’t it Kobe?”

Ball struggled to find the words. “Just because…the way he does it…I love Kobe, but he was never the best player for me…just because he made the most mistakes of all time. And you know what I'm saying?”

This is the second most heinous thing to come out of Bowles mouth this month, but never mind the fact that LeBron actually surpasses Kobe on the all-time mistakes list (14,628 to 14,481). .

“But let’s get back to Curry,” Ball said to Reese. “If you look at his history and the way he changed the game, he's the best shooter of all time. [He] Transported as in the United States, [there] There's nothing he hasn't done. And he's got a ring to prove it. ”

For Ball's lawyers, there are only wrong answers to the question of who is the greatest basketball player of all time.

Every GOAT evaluator will have his detractors, and Ball put it out there in the comments section of a clip from his “Unapologetically Angel” podcast shared on Instagram.

“Perfect example of telling your age without telling you how old you are!” one user wrote.

“He wants to be hated by half the NBA fans,” said another.

“He's talking bad about Kobe because the Mad Lakers traded him,” chimed in a third.

Ball was drafted No. 2 overall by Los Angeles in 2017 and played two seasons with the team before being traded to New Orleans on a three-team deal in July 2019.

He had the best season of his career in 2020-21, his second season with the Pelicans, averaging 14.6 points per game.

The point guard was sent to Chicago at the end of that season, where he struggled to stay on the court.

Ball will miss the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons due to a torn meniscus, and has only appeared in four games so far through the 2024-25 season due to a wrist injury.
