New York Jets defensive back DJ Reed had a clear message to NFL officials after his team's loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon.
Reid, who is starting in the secondary, wrote a message to the X's as Seattle defeated New York 26-21.

“@NFL Chief F—–G Goddammit, shame on you!” Reid wrote in the post.
Reed was called for a hold early in the first quarter against the Seahawks. The Jets were penalized 12 times for 83 yards in the game. Two of those penalties came on key drives for the Seahawks.
Seattle running back Zach Charbonnet ran for the game-winning 8-yard touchdown with 5:34 left. However, the game was extended twice and Seattle earned another set of downs after the Jets' Quantez Stigers and Solomon Thomas were called for penalties on fourth down.

It was a tough day for the Jets as they led 21-7 early in the second quarter. However, decisive turnovers and a lack of offense in the second half doomed them to defeat.
Reed played in Game 10 of the 2024 season on Sunday. Entering the contest, he had 37 tackles, eight pass breakups and one sack. Against the Seahawks, he had seven tackles and one pass breakup.

Reid is likely to be fined for criticizing officials. pro football talk Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett pointed out that he was fined $25,000 for calling officiating a “travesty” after last year's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
