Said He Had ‘Ruled Out’ Hunter Pardon

President Joe Biden lied for years about whether he would pardon his son Hunter Biden for his crimes, and in June he “ruled out” a pardon to ABC News' David Muir in an exclusive interview in Normandy, France. He even said.

As ABC News reported at that time:

President Joe Biden has said he will not pardon his son Hunter as his felony firearms trial continues. Extensive exclusive interview With ABC News anchor David Muir at the American Cemetery in Normandy to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

Mr. Muir asked Mr. Biden on Thursday whether he would accept the outcome of his son's trial in Wilmington, Delaware, to which the president replied, “I do.” Mr. Biden also answered, “Yes,” when asked by Mr. Muir if he would rule out a pardon for Mr. Hunter.

Hunter Biden was ultimately found guilty on three firearms charges and later pled guilty to tax violations.

For months, the White House maintained that the president had no intention of pardoning his son. For Democrats, and for a sympathetic media, this promise means Biden is politicizing the judicial system, despite the fact that he has been going after Donald Trump and his supporters for years while defending Hunter Biden. This was proof that there was no such thing.

Critics of the Biden-Harris administration have long expected Biden to pardon Hunter, regardless of his denial.

Muir will then moderate the presidential debate between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.
