Joe Biden isn't leaving the White House quietly.
With less than two months left in his term, the president granted a full and unconditional 10-year pardon to his son Hunter Biden.
This includes crimes he may have committed between January 1, 2014 and December 1, 2024.
“This covers Hunter's previous felony convictions for firearms and tax violations, as well as his time at Ukrainian energy company Burisma. However, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said, We were told over and over again that it wasn't going to happen,” said Jill Savage of Tonight's Blaze News.
“Let me be clear: this is not a pardon. This is 10 years' worth of salvation and forgiveness,” responded Eric Eggers, deputy director of the Government Accountability Institute. “This is also an affront to the integrity of our democracy and just another admission that Joe Biden and the Biden administration have lied to the American people for the past four years.”
“It started in the fall of 2020, when the FBI worked with Big Tech to help suppress accountability for Hunter Biden's business dealings in the first place, thereby preventing Joe Biden from becoming president. “We were even able to pardon Hunter Biden later,” he continues.
“What serious crime is actually being covered up here?” Blaze Media Editor-in-Chief Matthew Peterson asks Eggers, citing the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
“Joe Biden will begin this grace period for his son in January 2014. The month before that, Hunter Biden was on Air Force 2 with his father, Joe Biden, who was vice president at the time. They We're going to travel to China together,'' Eggers explained, noting that Hunter had no experience in international business at the time.
“He gets this $1.5 billion private equity deal, which is essentially a joint partnership with the Chinese Communist government, which has never been done before,” Eggers continued. “This began an international campaign against a shadowy corner of shady companies seeking to curry favor with America's political elites. It's called 'Elite Capture.'”
“These are business deals that Joe Biden will be involved in. So by creating this decade's worth of bounty for Hunter,” he concluded, “this is a business deal that Joe Biden will be involved in. It's the closest we've come to creating grace and space for.
