At the rally, Favre criticized President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris' handling of various domestic issues during their administration. In particular, he made sure to criticize Biden for calling Trump supporters “trash.”
“I can tell you we're not trash. How can he say that? I look at the police, I look at the teachers, I look at the nurses, I look at the grandparents, I look at the students. I look at the people who make this country great. We’re looking at Americans’ daily lives,” Favre said.
Favre went so far as to say it would be “insane” to vote for Harris.

“We've already had President Trump once, we've already seen Kamala in action. We can compare and we know which one is better,” Favre continued. “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results…Giving Kamara four more years is insanity. So bench Kamara and bring in a star quarterback. The time has come.”
Favre's support for Trump dates back to the 2020 election, when Trump lost to Biden.
The Hall of Fame quarterback endorsed President Trump in a post on X on October 30, 2020, citing his positions on issues of free speech, gun rights, and support for the military and police.
“My vote is for what makes this country great: freedom of speech and religion, the Second Amendment, hard-working tax-paying citizens, police and military. This election, we have no choice. There is freedom and everyone should respect it.'' And for these principles, my vote is. [Donald Trump]” Favre wrote.
Favre voiced this support even though he has said numerous times that he believes sports are becoming “overly political.”
