‘They knew these treatments were so harmful’: Former gender clinic employee blows whistle on medical abuse

Donald Trump may have won the White House, but children are still at risk of falling victim to dangerous left-wing ideology. That's why a former employee at a pediatric “transgender” center is blowing the whistle on shocking practices that take place behind closed doors.

Jamie Reed, executive director of the LGBT Courage Coalition, spent four years at the Washington University Transgender Center at St. Louis Children's Hospital, and what she saw was horrifying, to say the least.

“My current opinion is that adolescence is a human right,” Reid says. allie beth stuckey “I can relate'' to puberty blockers. “The body needs these steps, but the brain needs pruning and slowing puberty.”

“In clinical research, we've even seen cases where young people have asked endocrinologists to never give them sex hormones to keep them in a prepubescent state, and we've seen ethics papers argue the contrary. 'This is their right and they should be able to do this.' The damage to the body is immeasurable,” she added.

“I think a lot of people don't understand that adolescence is necessary for intellectual maturity and the ability to understand consequences,” Stuckey commented, adding that there are “sinister motives” behind it. He pointed out that it feels like there is.

“Who would want to prolong essentially eternal adolescence in young people, preventing them from making wise choices and keeping their bodies in a prepubescent state of development? “It's very disturbing,” she says.

But while puberty blockers create what Stuckey calls “permanent adolescence,” they also place the blame on children, Reid said.

“At the center, a large part of the decision-making process wasn't being decided by the endocrinologist. They were saying it was the mental health provider. The mental health provider wasn't making the decisions. Fundamentals. Essentially, if a child says they're transgender, they say they're transgender,” Reid explains.

Reid said that although she now understands how harmful “gender-affirming care” is for children, it takes a long time before she “realizes that children are falling apart.” He admits that it took a while.

“It took me a long time to realize what I was doing was wrong,” she says. “We were putting these children in harm's way. So you started to see the real medical damage.”

Reed recalls a patient who was given testosterone when she was young and then had her first sexual experience.

“Her vagina was completely torn and she was bleeding so much that we had to send her directly to the emergency room where she underwent emergency surgery,” Reid explained.

“And is it because the testosterone made her genitals worse?” Stuckey asks.

“That's right,” Reid replies. “I said, 'This is an adverse result,' and their answer was, 'No, that's not true.' We expected something like this to happen. ” They knew that these treatments were so harmful that they did not even see anything unexpected. ”
