It was evaluated that he was in a position to oversee the nation's vast laws. Executive agency.
in statement On Friday, the National Police Association (NPA), a nonprofit group representing more than 240,000 U.S. police officers, announced Patel's “as a former federal prosecutor and legal liaison to Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC).'' He was praised for his outstanding career.
“Law enforcement recognizes that the FBI's effective leadership is essential to building public trust and strengthening cooperation between all levels of law enforcement,” the group said. “Kash Patel's track record of leadership, counterterrorism and intelligence expertise, and ability to navigate complex legal and operational challenges will restore confidence in the FBI's mission and ensure that the FBI remains our nation's law enforcement officer.” He is the ideal candidate to ensure that we remain a steadfast ally of the United Nations.”

Patel is a close ally of the president-elect and served as both deputy assistant secretary and senior counterterrorism director during the first Trump administration.
Earlier this month, President Trump announced plans to fire FBI Director Christopher Wray and name Patel to replace him. (Mr. Wray may voluntarily resign from his position before Trump takes office, but he has not yet made clear whether he intends to do so.)

In a post on Truth Social announcing his plans to nominate Patel, President Trump said, “This FBI will end America's growing crime epidemic, dismantle immigrant criminal organizations, and fight cross-border human and drug trafficking.” We will prevent this evil scourge from happening.”
Still, replacing the current FBI director is a controversial move. The FBI director has a 10-year term, which theoretically allows him to carry out his duties without political pressure or interference from the sitting president.
Trump also selected Wray in his first term to replace former FBI Director James Comey, who he fired after less than four years in office. President Trump praised Wray at the time, calling him “a staunch guardian of the law and a model of integrity.”
Patel's nomination has also drawn criticism from some circles, over his previous pledge to prosecute journalists and career officials at the Justice Department and FBI, whom Patel considers part of the “deep state.” I'm citing it.
However, these concerns were not shared by the National Police Agency. The group said in a statement that Patel's appointment marks a “pivotal moment for law enforcement and public safety across the country.”
