As frustration over crime and the immigration crisis boils over, Chicagoans are finally fed up with Democratic leadership and are showing signs of change.
“You're so passionate about protecting foreigners, but you won't do anything for the American people,” one Chicago resident said in a passionate speech to the city council.
“We're the ones paying your salaries. Let me stress that. And yet you want to ignore us like we don't exist. Well, you don't exist in the next election. “Sure, because if you want to stand up for the wrongdoers here, there's a 10-year prison sentence,” she continued.
“That's interesting,” says Pat Gray of Pat Gray Unleashed.
But she wasn't the only resident standing up against the Democratic Party that runs the city.
“Mr. Trump, Mr. Tom Homan, please first set an example for this black man here,” Daniel Carter Williams, a fitness trainer and Chicago resident, told the City Council, directing his comments to Mayor Brandon Johnson.
“You all stood there and said we're not going to let Trump come here and take illegal aliens. Yeah, you can laugh. We have a billion dollar deficit, but You spent half of our money, half of it, on illegal activities. You campaigned, you campaigned, and you doubled down on not raising property taxes,” she continued. .
“And here we are now. You wanted to raise our taxes by $300 million. They shut it down. Okay, now we're here with $150 million. Go back,'' Carter-Williams said, refusing to back down. “You said you were going to take Trump to court to protect these wrongdoers.”
“Turn Chicago red,” she added, stepping off the podium.
