Sean McVay's biggest supporter got a big win Sunday.
Moments after the Rams defeated the Bills in a thrilling 44-42 upset win at home, the wife of eight-year Rams head coach Veronica Homin sent a fiery message to Buffalo's beloved fan base.
“Sorry Bills Mafia. LA is too hot for you,” she wrote on her Instagram Story as the Rams improved to 7-6.
The Rams entered Sunday's contest at SoFi Stadium as the underdog to Josh Allen's Bills, who defeated the 49ers in snowy Buffalo just last week.
Quarterback Matthew Stafford had 23 of 30 hits for 320 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions.
Meanwhile, Allen threw three touchdowns and rushed for three scores, but it wasn't enough to complete the comeback after the Bills trailed 24-14 at halftime.
“Josh Allen is an alien,” McVay said after the game. According to NBC News. “Some of the things he can do, the things he can create, we knew he could do it. He showed that. That's why he's respected as much in this league. It's being appreciated.”
Stafford is in his fourth season in Los Angeles. He won a Super Bowl in his first season with the Rams in February 2022.
Los Angeles made the postseason in January, but fell 24-23 to Stafford's former Lions team in the wild-card round.
The Rams currently lead the NFC playoff race as the No. 8 seed, one game behind the Commanders, who are vying for the final spot.
They will play the rival Niners (6-7) this week on “Thursday Night Football.”
For McVeigh and his family, fall is in full swing. He and Homin celebrated their son Jordan's first birthday at the end of October.
The couple celebrated outdoors.
“Happy 1st birthday, Jordan! Thank you for making me a mom. You light up our entire world!!!” Homin exclaimed on Instagram at the time.
Homin, a luxury real estate agent, married McVay, 38, in a lavish ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel in June 2022, just months after the Rams won their first Super Bowl.
